IIIPC General Assembly Meeting

The 2008 IIPC General Assembly meeting was held at the National Library of Australia. Fifty four delegates from 28 IIPC member institutions attended the meeting, which included expert discussions, project presentations, and tool demonstrations, and meetings of the four working groups, technical committee, and steering committee. |

The seventh annual International Web Archiving Workshop (IWAW) took place the 23rd of June in Vancouver, Canada in conjunction with the ACM IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries. The workshop provided a cross domain overview on active research and practice in all domains concerned with the acquisition, maintenance and preservation of digital objects for long-term access, with a particular focus on web archiving and studies on effective usage of this type of archives. |
